One morning, a girl, who lives with her mother in a small-town, notices that the rubble is being removed from the field outside her window. This realization prompts her to reassess her life and the environment she lives in, as she spends most of her time in her room.

Life on the outside (France) by Pascal Marc
Between 1979 and 1984, my father filmed family memories with a consumer VHS camcorder. Between 1985 and 1991, my mother wrote 178 letters to my father, incarcerated at the Prison de la Santé in Paris. Today, I create a dialogue between my mother's words and my father's images.

Leben (Poland) by Ania Plonka
A grotesque reflection on life on a Polish housing estate from a perspective of chaotic and slightly depressed student Olga, who moves into a flat inherited from her grandma. Initially, she feels hopeless, her roommate annoys her, and the area she remembered from her childhood seems like a depressive pit. A random visit to Astoria bar and meeting her childhood friends makes her realize the fascinating oddity of the local community and gives her hope for true settling in.
